Laura Cross is an editor at Vetstreet, and when she’s not writing about animals, you can find her taking classes at the gym, reading, and wishing she lived closer to the beach.

While she doesn’t have any pets of her own, she lives with a lovable Pomeranian named Bea and spends quality time with her family’s Boykin Spaniel, Blaze.

Prior to Vetstreet, Laura interned at a digital agency and had a brief stint as a substitute teacher. She graduated from University of Virginia (go, Hoos!) and her lofty dreams include owning a Corgi puppy, writing a critically acclaimed novel, and holding a baby panda.
